IITA Members Invited: Celebrate Diversity at IGLTA 2025 in Palm Springs

Public,

IITA members are invited to the IGLTA 2025 Global Convention, taking place October 21-25 in Palm Springs, California, and as one of IITA’s sister organizations, IGLTA is offering a 10% discount and waving its $500 nonmember surcharge.

If you aren’t familiar with the International LGBTQ+ Travel Association (IGLTA), it’s a nonprofit organization founded in 1983 dedicated to promoting welcoming travel options. Our mission also includes educational programs, research and data collection, and leadership development within the travel industry.

“In a time of political division and social unrest, it's more important than ever that marginalized communities come together—not in silos, but in solidarity,” said John Tanzella, IGLTA president & CEO.  “This year, as we gather industry leaders, changemakers, and global stakeholders in LGBTQ+ tourism for the convention, we are prioritizing intersectionality, collaboration, and community.”

In addition to IGLTA’s existing coalition gatherings designed for Women and Black leaders in travel, it will be supporting the first QPOC gathering, a social event welcoming all Queer People of Color from intersectional communities to deliver on inclusive, intersectional and truly representative efforts of the association and its membership.

“IITA and IGLTA have exchanged memberships and supported one another’s organizations for many years,” said Lisa Simon, IITA’s CEO/executive director. “IGLTA is the leading voice of the LGBTQ+ travel community and authority on promoting inclusivity, equality and safety for LGBTQ+ travelers worldwide.”
