Now Accepting Proposals: Call for Presentations for IITA Summit 2027

Do you have insights, strategies, or success stories that can help advance international inbound travel to the United States? The International Inbound Travel Association (IITA) is now accepting presentation proposals for IITA Summit 2027, taking place January 31–February 3, 2027, in Birmingham, Alabama.

As the premier educational and networking event for the U.S. inbound travel industry, IITA Summit brings together inbound tour operators, destination marketing organizations, attractions, hotels, transportation providers, and other travel industry professionals to discuss the trends, challenges, and opportunities shaping international travel to the United States.

We are seeking engaging, educational, and interactive sessions that provide practical value for attendees. Whether you are a seasoned presenter or a first-time speaker with a unique perspective, we encourage submissions for individual presentations, co-presented sessions, and panel discussions.

Suggested Topics

Proposals should focus on issues relevant to international inbound travel, including:

  • International travel trends and market insights
  • Travel trade sales and business development
  • Product development and itinerary planning
  • Marketing and destination promotion
  • Technology, AI, and operational efficiency
  • Public policy, advocacy, and government affairs
  • Sustainability and responsible tourism
  • Workforce development and industry education
  • Partnerships that drive inbound visitation

What to include in your proposal:

  • Session Title - A clear, engaging title
  • Brief Description - A concise summary of your topic and key takeaways
  • Format (solo, co-presented, or panel) - Indicate whether it’s a solo presentation, co-presentation, or panel
  • Presenter(s)/Panelist(s) - Full names & professional affiliations (include emails and phone numbers)
  • Target Audience - Who would benefit from your session?
  • Relevance to inbound travel - How your content addresses industry trends, challenges, or opportunities

The IITA Summit 2027 Committee will review all submissions for approval/inclusion.
