IITA will join representatives of the U.S. government and Cambodia's tourism industry next week for a U.S.–Cambodia Tourism Webinar aimed at strengthening tourism relationships and expanding travel opportunities between the two countries.
Organized through the U.S. Embassy in Phnom Penh, with involvement from the U.S. Department of Commerce's National Travel and Tourism Office (NTTO) and U.S. Commercial Service, the webinar will bring together tourism leaders to share market insights, showcase travel opportunities, and encourage greater collaboration between the two countries.
Representing the U.S. inbound travel industry, IITA CEO Lisa Simon will present “Opportunities for Tourism in the United States,” highlighting the diversity of American destinations and experiences and the important role of U.S. inbound operators in helping international travel buyers develop, package, and sell the USA. U.S. Embassy consular officials will also address visa bonds and processes.
The program will feature Oknha Chhay Sivlin, President of the Cambodia Tourism Association, discussing Cambodia's tourism potential, along with hospitality leaders from Courtyard by Marriott Phnom Penh and Park Hyatt Siem Reap highlighting their respective destinations.
The webinar represents another opportunity for IITA to work with federal partners to introduce the U.S. travel trade to emerging international markets, build commercial relationships and encourage new business opportunities for its members.
